About studying online
Your academic support
At RGU we believe that the content of your online course forms only part of your learning. In all our credit-rated courses you will have access to the support of academic staff.
If you have a question, you can submit your query to the module discussion forum. Your tutor will respond to your query and all module participants will be able to benefit from their expert advice.
You may also have the benefit of participating in course tutorials and workshops in online chat sessions, or engage in project work with groups of other students.
You will not only be able to benefit from the experience and opinions of other learners but also to learn in a stimulating environment where you are encouraged to apply your new skills.
Your learning materials
Course authors are academic staff from RGU, industry, or academic subject matter experts who work with education specialists to design, develop, and test
the courses. Courses are continuously improved with feedback from Campus members.
On Campus students
You do not have to be a distance learner to use the RGU: Virtual Campus; as a full- or part-time student of RGU you will use many of the same features of the Campus as does a distance learner, but these will be used in support of traditional teaching methods. Course tutors use the Campus to deliver support materials, on-line discussion forums and project work, all of which will enhance your learning experience at RGU.
